Community Advisory Panel
MRC Community advisory panel (CAP)
The MRC CAP is a forum for encouraging an open dialogue between the refinery’s neighbors and refinery representatives. MRC’s key objective for hosting the CAP is to actively provide community members with the opportunity to learn about refinery operations through a continuing conversation that includes their feedback and updates on community activities.
Individual CAP members are volunteers who either live or work in communities near MRC. This includes community members who are fence line neighbors, charitable organizations, emergency responders and much more. The CAP is an advisory group to MRC, rather than a decision-making body, with members meeting as often as ten times per year.
